Creative Translation in the classroom

Yesterday we welcomed two ambassadors from The Queen’s College in Oxford who delivered two Creative Translations workshops to our Yr5 and Yr6 students. These workshops are design to encourage children to work creatively and collaboratively with languages, as they translate texts in languages they may not know and come up with inventive solutions in English. Both groups really enjoyed translating picture books in Spanish.
