What is the LSA?

Lauriston School Association is a parent led group responsible for organising social and fundraising events throughout the school year. Any parent with a child at Lauriston is welcome to attend LSA meetings and assist with events whilst members of the LSA Committee are voted in at the annual AGM each November.  The overall objective of the LSA is to provide a friendly environment for parents to get to know each other and get involved with the school, as well as raising much needed funds.

What does the LSA do?

Events include the International Food Evening, Winter Fair, Summer Fair, Table Top Sale, 100 Club, Cake Sales and more. The LSA helped transform the Art Shed into a usable building for Art classes as well as the new Breakfast Club. We have also funded the text messaging service, a valuable resource to keep parents up to the minute with important school information, and most recently have funded new playground equipment for the school.

How can I get involved?

All parents/carers and staff are welcome to come along to our meetings and coffee mornings. We are keen for the LSA to broaden its reach by having as many parents as possible get involved. So if you’d like to get involved or find out more, please contact Lorraine Groom the school manager. All parents will automatically receive an email/text informing of the next school LSA meeting.
