Year 6 Oak Class Residential 2021 - Day 4

13:49 Year 6 Oak have been making the most of our last hours of camp! We had a final reflection on our time here and answered some questions about what the experience has been like. Some more of us got the chance to roast marshmallows over the fire for s’mores, while others got the chance to do whittling. We also had a final brilliant free play, playing games in the long grass, enjoying the tyre swing for the last time, and some of us chose to help Immola (our lovely cook) out with lunch, and others to do some art! Finally, we gathered around the campfire for one last tasty lunch. After that all that was left to do was say a huge thank you to the TGC team and get on our coach home. We’re safely on the coach travelling back, and looking forward to seeing you all very soon!

09:47 Day 4 has dawned on us in Kent! We awoke early and Year 6 did an amazing job of cleaning out their tents before breakfast. There was wonderful teamwork between each tent as they took out their bags, sleeping bags and mats, and brushed out their tents. Brilliant! The TGC team were super impressed by the positive attitudes and speed! Then it was time for tasty breakfast of porridge followed by eggy bread. It’s another beautiful day and we’re looking forward to squeezing in more activities and games before we leave today.
